PBWC 2018 Report: PRFS VNG 14 Jun, 2018

PBWC 2018, the first ever PB global tournament to be held in Brazil has ended.

It was probably the most fierce tournament ever in PB history,

and the most suitable tournament for the phrase, "Gap is Closing"

PBWC 2018's average round difference in a game was only "2.79",

huge difference from PBIC 2017(5.61) and PBWC 2017(5.31).

It's time to look into how the teams performed in the tournament.

The 4th team we are going to take a look is Indonesian team, PRFS VNG.

PRFS VNG has brought Indonesia a new sensation,

as they won against PBIC 2017 champion, RRQ Endeavour.

They knocked out RRQ Endeavour with a perfect score of 6:0 in PBGC 2018 Semi-final.

Not only once but twice, as they won again in PBIL that was held right after PBGC 2018.

An outstanding performance was expected from them,

and they fulfilled Indonesian fans' expectation by winning all their matches in Group stage.

On day 2, they faced 2Kill Gaming backed by huge crowd's support.

Although they lost against 2Kill, they were really close on both game 1 and 2.

In 3rd place match, they showed outstanding performance on Luxville with a score of 6:1.

However, they had a close match with Plan-B on Sand Storm and Downtown but could not come out as victor.

Although their achievement was not as great as they did in PBIC 2017,

they will come back on the next tournament to lift the trophy once again.
