PBWC 2018 Report: Plan-B Gaming 18 Jun, 2018

PBWC 2018, the first ever PB global tournament to be held in Brazil has ended.

It was probably the most fierce tournament ever in PB history,

and the most suitable tournament for the phrase, "Gap is Closing"

PBWC 2018's average round difference in a game was only "2.79",

huge difference from PBIC 2017(5.61) and PBWC 2017(5.31).

It's time to look into how the teams performed in the tournament.

The 5th team we are going to take a look is Turkish team, Plan-B Gaming.

Turkey region has not been the strongest region in Point Blank so far,

as they have never reached final and their best performance was 3rd in PBWC 2016.

In Group stage, they showed decent performance as they won against home team Juventus.

xm0nsteR's 3 vs 1 save with only 6 HP remaining at Provence against Juventus was the highlight.

In semifinal, Plan-B faced strongest team, TokioStriker and they had close match on every game with round difference of only 2~3.

Although they lost, their performance was the best of all Turkish teams throughout PB e-Sports history.

In 3rd place match, they were completely crushed by PRFS VNG on game 1.

But they made a comeback on game 2 & 3, again with a close score,

and secured 3rd place, re-achieving Turkish team's best result.

With Plan-B's outstanding performance throughout PBWC 2018,

fans will not be surprised that Turkish team would reach final on next tournament.
